Manual focus F-mount 35mm SLR released by Nikon in 1980. The F3 was the first Nikon professional SLR to feature auto-exposure and an electronically controlled shutter. This version has titanium outer plates, improving rigidity. Most were sold with high eyepoint (HP) finders, but all standard F3 finders can be used. Titanium body available in black.
